The Transport Research & Innovation Portal (TRIP), formerly known as the Transport Research Knowledge Centre (TRKC), was the one single portal for information on all transport research and innovation conducted at European and national levels. TRIP contained a vast amount of in-depth information on large programmes and specific projects across Europe and at national level. All information was categorised by transport mode and sector. In addition, TRIP’s publications provided an overview on specific transport themes and policy. One could disseminate their own news and experience by submitting project information, news or event announcements to the portal.

By the end of 2017 the TRIP’s database of transport research has been transferred to a new platform called TRIMIS.
